Two Dead, Two Critically Hurt After Lightning Strikes In Front Of White House

Two people died on August 5 and two are still recovering from injuries after they were all allegedly struck by lightning in D.C., NBC Washington reported.

Two women and two men were hurt from a lightning strike in their immediate vicinity near Lafayette Square on August 4, reports said.

The two people who died from their injuries on August 5 were a couple from Wisconsin, NBC reported.

Witnesses and bystanders, who were gathered in Lafayette Square for a Ukraine support meeting, said they heard a boom and saw one man receiving chest compressions, NBC said.
